The wife would not approve of that much, and I ain't so rich I can spend 5 grand without her noticing that's for sure . I basically told her I wouldn't spend a bunch and go apeshit on it. After I get the suspension all replaced I'm going to do the body next year and then performance maintenance upgrades as funds permit. This is just a fun car to play with since this is the first summer I can remember I don't have a street bike. It's nice with the top down and cruising along Lake Michigan .

Thanks guys , I bought cheap paint and used 12 cans first time, then bought better stuff and did the final coats wig about 8 cans.. Lol cheapo paint job for sure, but at least it hides the rust on the doors for the summer.

It already had some mods done to it before I got it. It has a racing clutch installed not sure of the brand , but its stiff as fuck. My son drove it for the first time following me pulling the equipment to a new job friday, and he said "man my leg started shaking holding the clutch in at the light dad" I said "put it in neutral and hold the brake next time son." It also has a mild cam in it. He said he kept burning out on accident in first because he kept thinking it was going to die...lol I am going to probably throw some exhaust on it this summer if I can do it cheap. it has stock headers from ford and original dual exhaust. I'm thinking I might throw a couple thrush or cherry bombs for $40-50 each to make it sound a little meaner for this year.

I don't think guys my age are allowed to make burnout video's, although I was thinking of doing a 0-60 video, just to see for my self how fast I can do it in. It's only one shift to hit 60. The fun thing about these cars is they are so light it doesn't take much to move them down the road.

if you're still breathing you're allowed to do burn out/donut videos

i know you're not older than my dad, and he sent me a video of him doing wheelies on the lawn tractor this weekend
