The previous worn tob wore down the transmission snout where the new tob sits.

The new tob is fine. It really is the play between the damaged snout and the tob that creates the squeal, once heat has expanded things.

Thanks :)

well didnt even need to install a sleeve kit. The slave cylinder needed ajustment. plain and simple.

i dont know why he didnt adjust it right in the first place, and the second when he simply added thicker grease...but it seems fixed for good now.

fucking relief.

ANNNND no. had a feeling the TSK was needed, should have insisted. Mechanic wants hard to save me money, but the opposite happens cause he aint fixing the damn squealing (its fixed for like couple hours so he thinks he fixes it) and I need to disturb my wife to follow me with her car to drop mine there and come back (40 minutes drive....) and its gonna be the 4th time now I drop the car.

Told him I was not paying the last 150 bucks he charged me for slave cylinder adjustment.................................

fucking hell

Yea. I pushed him a bit so he cuts the price of the sleeve install by whhat he charged me for the last visit. (150)

its the his chance. If the new sleeve kit doesnt fix it, which im pretty sure it will, ima go see someone else.
