This is what I use on my black C6. I this maybe 2-3 times a year. And in between, when it gets too dirty or caught in the rain I just do a quick wash/wax with the quick wax.

Meguiar's #7 show car glaze
Meguiar's #20 polymer sealant
Meguiar's ultimate liquid wax

I've never put it on in direct sunlight so I'm not 100% on how long you'll have, but if you do small sections it shouldn't be a problem.

I live in florida so... I have a garage but can do the car in the driveway without being in the sunlight. Not hard to find some shade to wax your car. A lot of the car washes around here have canopies for that purpose.

Go buy a 100$ quick open canopy from lowes. Pop it up when you are going to do your car.

Buy the Turtle Wax Black Box kit.

This shit is regular turtle wax with black dye in it so you can't see the spots you missed.

A 50+% carnauba blend (preferably Brazilian ivory) will give you the best depth. A polymer sealant will give you the candy hard shell wet look. I love Pinnacle Souveran on red and black vehicles. I usually layer it over 2 layers of KLASSE Sealant glaze.
