Idk, he puts it in next to the shifter, otherwise it won't start or shift

Like you can throw the ground on something for the switch and it basically just takes the 'feature' out of the car, but you're still
allowed to start.
The guy was going to charge me $200 for labor no matter what, so I paid the $50 extra for the part to get it done.
but yeah it's a 5 speed.
