Towed my car to an engine savvy friend's house.

Dropped and drained tank after removing the fuel pump.
Removed spark plugs.
Removed fuel rail and injectors.
Blew fuel line clear with mouth.

The diesel I put in was in a gas can at my brothers house. There were 2 identical ones and I obviously grabbed the wrong one.

but ive seen them different colors also... best way to make sure is to read it before putting it into your tank cause the diesel pump's and gas pumps are together


some stores the diesel pumps are seperate located at the back of the store's and thats how it should be honestly
