Posting in a Mustang GT or Camaro SS thread, you can get these new for under 35k

Neither of those are sports cars.

Getting this out of way early - Buying a new car is depreciation suicide.

*steps off financial soapbox*

Buy certified pre owned....At the 35k range, that gets you a hell of a lot of fun toys to choose from.....If only you loosened the "new" requirement.

But don't any car depreciate overtime ? Certified pre owned would be fine but has to be 2015-2016

I'd stay away from "new" car. Specially at that budget.

So many good options out there for 35k.

I'd aim for certified pre-owned with a good chunk of warranty time / mileage left.

The Audi S4 is pretty solid platform currently, with hardly any problems in the B8.5 model (B9 is right around the corner so they are priced very aggressively). A ton of great deals out there. And with a $1800 upgrade you can get stage2+ tune with pulley upgrade and that brings you to over 400+awhp no problem. Just one suggestion.

You could get a cheaper 370z or G37 and get a Fast Intentions Twin Turbo setup also. 600 HP there and very solid build.

What brands do you like? What kind of power do you want? 300-600hp?) does all wheel drive matter? Do u care about powertrain factory warranty that much? Etc etc etc.

To be honest I just want a nice , fast well respected car

theres nothing new you can afford that is nice, fast, and well respected.

i got a 2012 135i CPO for $25k 2 years ago, havent had a single problem, cars at 40k and still have aftermarket warranty til 75k

if you have to have 15/16

you have 2 options, BRZ or gen coupe

Save up another 10k and get a used 2014 c7 corvette (43-50k).... There is nothing "new" at 35k that is respectable IMO. All highschool/early college level "boy" sport cars that you will look back and regret a few years down the road.
