Ima Honda fan boy and honestly I love my friends GSXR's. '06 600 and a '13 600. All around great bikes and I love the looks as well! The CBR600rrs are super nice too, tho!

Maybe check out KTM's lineup? Or maybe try riding a different style of bike :)

I wouldn't trade my cbr600 for a different 600 on the market. Then again, since having two kids recently, it's a 2013 with 998 miles on it

my dad had an 07 R6 for the longest time, but he only takes them to track days, he outgrew it (hes 54) and bought a wrecked s1000RR and we rebuilt it, he still rides it at the track on rain mode half the time. its a ridiculous amount of bike and hes gone down on it twice, luckily just two lowsides at 60-ish mph but he always talks about going back to a 600

he likes that theyre light and nimble, and since he's an old man it's less strain on his body so he can actually still flick the bike around the corners by the end of the day.

Very very few people can actually use a 1,000 to it's potential on a track. I've seen quite a few people on a 600 make liter bikes look foolish at trackdays.

my dad runs faster at fontana and big willow on the liter bike since theyre not AS technical of a track, but he says he wishes he had the r6 to take to the smaller tracks still.

not many people can fully take advantage of a 600 either. Big difference between racers and track day riders

also vouch this.

my dad ended up getting basically all he can get upgraded on the bike... he got the shift reverser (or gp shift kit? idk much about it) the GPR steering stabilizer, got the front forks professionally re-tuned for his body weight at EVERY track he went to, steel braided brake lines, got a new full exhaust and power commander and had the bike professionally tuned on a dyno... then decided after spending about 4800$ upgrading his r6 he should do all this to a liter bike LOL

bmw s1000rr i still want one

Me too. They are badass.

I agree with all of the 600 talk. I've always enjoyed 600s on the street. My car is faster than Liter bikes now so I don't need a Liter bike for the speed rush. If you take that away the 600 is a blast.
