so i have a 2000 audi a4-s4 quattro 5speed. ive done quite a bit to it since ive gotten it. garret gtw3684. forged h beam rods 8:1 JE pistons. ported and flow tested head.
stock crank. Je bearings and journals. eurotune stage 3 tune with 2 step and 3 programmable settings. on a nice cold day im running a consistant 24 psi and usually run a 11.8x
Id like to touch the 10s with this car and most everything ive read states that it will "never happen" with a stock bottom end 1.8t. my curiosity comes with whether or not
i should up the psi to perhaps 30 and risk blowing my head off the block. OR should i stud the block and run between a 75-150 shot WOT. i dont know which will be more affective.

and if i do swap turbos which would be better?

I think fmx has a good point on running the meth, unless the car is on e85

I would look into studs and a good head gasket, so you dont lift the heads, and..a real tune assuming your just using a plug n play tuner and assuming your heads flow enough to support your actual power goals and you should be alot better off

. and by effective what will cost less and do less damage. i know to get this sled in the 10s im gonna break alot more. than i already have. thats the list of upgrades that actually need mention, other non mentionables are obviously clutch axles lsds.

Just to recommend something different than everyone else as an option - since damaging your engine is a concern going stage full-tard on a 1.8 - what does that fat girl weigh? Is it a daily driver even during the winter months?
Just thinking different options other than blowing that little ass engine up.
