once you go 4x4 alot of lineups don't offer the 4x4 with the smaller 4cyl engine. I drive a ranger 4x4, good trucks runs good handles good hauls stuff good. Drinks gas. I almost think it's a heavy half ton sometimes it really takes some abuse lol. If I'd had the money I'd have got a tacoma. Hands down the best current option I think.
yeah...that what sucks about trucks, nobody seem to have what I just need
I will never tow more then 1000 pounds so a v6 is useless for me..but I can already imagine all my friends/family calling me to help me move things as soon as I buy a truck, so the towing power could come handy

Yeah, agreed, that wasn't meant to be a truck to truck comparison - cause, yeah, they are in two different towing categories. I hated the fact is was a gasser at all.. Just my thoughts on going from the vehicles I'm used to driving, to ones I've been meaning/wanting to try out.
I was mainly just surprised as to the lack of "build quality" overall. Truck had 50k miles - Throwing evap code, the rear door hinges had slop, the interior was a joke - trying to be luxurious with all that stiff leather, surrounded by fake wood and plastic that was cracking........everywhere. The auto darkening mirrors are also fucking retarded if you ask me.
I felt that at least with the Nissan, and its cloth seats and minimalist interior, that you weren't getting duped by the company, as I bought the truck to use as a utility vehicle, I want no frills. Cloth and plastic is cool with me, and I'll pay accordingly. Again, someone paid fifty grand or more for that thing. I paid 20, and in my example the car has triple the mileage, with less problems. That's all.
Granted, obviously, take that anecdotal evidence with a grain of salt, as this was only one example, which could have been beaten - who knows? I just know, I was longing for that Frontier half way through the ride.
OP wait for the new Wrangler Truck coming out soon. I'm fairly excited for that.
I love jeep but the interior is ''small'' as it is not much more bigger then my lancer so it wouldn't fit what I need for a 4-5 days fishing trip
I have to buy liquor instead of beers atm because it would just not fit in the car

and it is the price of a half ton truck as somebody else mentionned earlier

i have a 1991 toyota pickup. its a mini-truck and 2wd but its a fuckin champ
toyota tacome seem to be what I'm going for, but I will have to sit in one and drive it for a bit..but so far..it is the truck that seem to be the most fitted for what I'm going to do
