i had a buddy who had a mustang running a 13 with very little work done to it, but I personally would prefer the 5.0 too if I'm building it, but for just a daily I wouldn't see anything wrong with the 4.6

2 valve per cylinder 4.6's are a joke. 3 valve per cylinder 4.6's like this one are meh. 4 valve per cylinder 4.6's with factory superchargers (03/04 cobra) are not a joke. Overly complex and expensive, yes. But they also make 700whp with a blower swap.
