You shouldn't even have to pay for an attorney to get out of this...do some research, not on a D2 forum.

Where i live he cannot legally represent himself and his parents were not present at the incident so they can't either.

They will probably let you do a defensive driving course and fine you since you are 17.

Didn't even see that he was underage. But yeah, same in my old state.

I hope your district attorney is not a total douche lol

When I was under 18 in NH, they would never fine you, just have you do a course and/or good behavior for a certain amount of time.

Unless he gets a douche judge the circumstantial evidence, his age, and hopefully clean driving record should let him get off pretty light.

Fight it, innocent until proven guilty.

Write down everything you can remember about what happened.
File for disclosure and see what evidence they've got against you.
Since they didn't clock your speed (if your story is true), they really don't have anything against you.

I've gotten pulled over for speeding, cop said he heard tire squeal and saw me going pretty fast.
I admitted that I accelerated a little fast but was never over the speed limit, asked him if he clocked me, he didn't, no proof, let me go.
