Stick one wire on the car on a clean ground then stick the other in each plug until you read 12 volts with parking lights on. If you don't ever read 12 then obviously a power issue. Could of also bought bad bulbs. It happens. You know one side works so take the working one out and stick in other side

Kind of this, except you want to make sure that you have a DC meter.. If you don't, you can check continuity of the circuit by doing the same thing, except instead of turning it on to test voltage, turn it on to test OHMS "the omega symbol on the meter". If it makes a sound, you have good continuity.. If it doesn't, your ground is probably fucked somewhere... Or your harness. When you do this, disconnect your battery.

Lol you electricians and your expensive multimeters. Most of us peasants have cheapo meters that don't have smart functions like auto continuity check.

Clean the socket contacts, bend the wires om the bulb out a little wider, and see what you've got. If that doesn't work start checking voltage and resistance to ground.

Fluke 87V, come at me bruh.

Lol the rest of our tools are garbage quality, so why not buy expensive meters? Literally, the only difference between an auto mechanics tools and an electricians tools is the cost.

I know it's not the bulbs, tried them on the side that works and they were functional

Ok so check volts and ground continuity and see what you get
