Hello all users,

Not so long ago, I went to pass my driving permit and did sucess the road exam.

I can now drive any bike, alone (thank you Quebec laws...).

So now I'm looking forward buying a new or used road motorcycle. Over the years, I had the luck to try different relatives and friends bike:

Honda shadow 750
Yamaha V-star 1100
Suzuki gsxr 750
kawa er-6n
kawa zx-10
kawa zx-14
kawa z1000
klr650
versys 1000
versys 650 (or was it a 750?)

So far, my fav bikes were:

Kawa z1000
gsxr750
versys1000

I plan on buying something close to next examples:
kawa z1000
Honda cbf1000
Honda xt650 (and swap it sm )

Do you guys have any bike idea I might want to look at ?
Is there any question needed to answer prior to shopping ?

unless you have some decent size to you there is no point in a 1000 cause you will never even use all its power

get a 600 or 750

Thank you for input !

But yeah I'm 6'1'' and around 90kg so I do not feel very confortable on small bikes. My arms/legs are long enought haha so on smaller bikes, I feel kind of squeezee between handbar and pegs :p

And 600-750 are ish options :s I don't want to race but I had few pitbikes (yz490, klx450, yz250) and I always ended up wanting more powar :/

buy a zx-14 or busa.

Both bikes would suit someone of your statue really well.

nah men,

Here is why:
- trizillions $$$ to insure/plate
- I have hard time controlling my "brain switch"

Pros:
zx-14 is soooooo confo to ride omgeeze
