Cons:
They sound like shit.
AWD mean less power to individual wheels.
Low ride height.
Engine takes up a LOT of space for it's displacement.

These are actually really nice cars tho, and I HATE ricers. Literally the only one I could ever consider getting (but probably not because muscle>)

Give me some pros?

Strong power range.
AWD is probably the best for any mass production car.
Very good handling, on and off road.

no longer offer a hatchback or wagon
the 2016's have bigger wheels stock

Overall, it is a good car for what it costs. Would I ever buy one? Na... but I have my reasons - which many of the more active subforum members do not see eye to eye with me on. Truth of the matter is: The WRX is essentially a poor man's STi. Designed for modding/bang for the buck performance, but nothing more.

It carries a "racer boy" vibe aka lacking the finesse and prestige that a "real man's ride" (say a porsche) would have. Hell, one could even call it a poor man's porsche.

Boxers sound the best, other than some crazy ass 3x or 4x rotor Mazda.
