do you self a favor and spend the extra coin on the bilsteins

I honestly don't have that kind of money to spend. I'm not trying to go autocrossing, I just want to be able to handle as good or better than when the car is new. What about like KYB AGX's?

It's 700 min for a set of bilstein's, or 370 for agx's which are still a good upgrade. And the car is t drivable on the ones that are currently in it, 183k miles on them (completely flat)

We had a nissan with just shocks struts, and we never changed them, put probably 80k on the car, of HARD miles.

youll be fine

sounds like you cant afford a project car, or you dont understand how a project car works

^^^^yes

You are opening yourself up to what we call circle modding. That is buying something only to buy a better or different version later. It becomes so much more expensive than buying the right part the first time... i have friends that are pros at that.

Decided I'm just getting the AGX's with no intention of upgrading in the future. Also replacing the ball joints, outer tie rod ends, bushings, and spring insulators. Anyone know where the best place to find a good deal on bushings are? Also looking for a 4th gen rear spring insulator, where can I find those? (neither bushing or insulators on rockauto)

The man isn't here to take advice from other members. He just wanted to make an announcement on his craptastic purchase.

Or I just wanted a decent oem like I said in my OP. I'm not going to be auto crossing, street racing, or anything like that, I literally just want to be able to drive the car and have it ride like it's new. How does that translate to a $1000 set of shocks?
