Only cars I've ever driven were hondas and dodges. Dodges are built pretty tough as in collision wise, but mechanics are crap. Had a ram 1500 hemi and it was nice until 50k miles then things well apart. But did hit a car once and nothing happened to the truck but the other car was smushed (crash was not my fault)

So are they not worth it?

Not if you're young lol. Idk Dodge doesn't scream cool to me. It's a safe car though

Then again i'm 18 and drive a 15' accord coupe now as my own graduation present. The i4 accord coupe even the sedan is faster than a v6 charger lol. better gas mileage and resale and quality, but doesn't get that nice v6-v8 rumble.

I was also looking at Nissan 350z would that screw me in insurance?

helllll no on the 350z dude, i wanted to get a used one and insurance for me (17 at the time) was almost $250/month for full coverage. My accord rn is 180/month but it's brand new compared to 100k mile 05 z.

The hemi is fast (meh really, my friend's ford cumstang gt swept hemis left and right), drinks gas. My dodge 1500 got 12 mpg so im guessing the charger being lighter and being more aerodynamic will realistically get like 18-20 around town. But the hemi sound is awesome lol.

I know this is bias but look at a used accord coupe. It's sportier than the sedan, and it's a good car (not fast or flashy, but overall very well built and good car)

In all honesty the speed and sound get annoying.

coming from an 18 year old, get a economical car that is somewhat sporty. Gas is huge and you'll be begging to change to a four banger in the first 6 months.

i've been around straight piped trucks and cumstangs and they're really annoying after a while.
