Where I live there are not many US trucks but I do see a lot of Samurai and Jimny in the woods driving around. Maybe try looking up for Lada Niva, can get 20+ of them for 10k $ and afaik they are good even stock off road

one time we went up to ginnie springs and my friend brought his bronco, with a 351 cleveland, or a winchester or some shit, idk ford motors. he drug around trees for our bonfire, took it through the river, jumped it, flipped it, caught it on fire, and then drove it home.
