Its an 08... The 6.4 is a piece of shit, the 7.3 is the last good power stroke ford put into a truck.

Its not the same, you buy a 6.0 or a 6.4 and you're buying a hunk of shit that doesn't know how to breath. You buy a 7.3 and you're buying an engine that will run until you're sick of the truck. Worth isn't in the eye of the beholder in this case, it literally is the difference of buying a piece of shit versus buying a good truck.

Forsure me neither specially a Ford.
But those diesels still go for a lot.

I got almost $17k on trade in for my 2wd 06 dodge cummins with 120k miles. This is 10k cheaper, 4wd, 190k miles. It's also in Canada. These things bottom out around 8k when they are rusted through and beat to shit with half a million miles.

17k is pretty low (granted it's a trade in so it's probably ballpark)

But god damn man... call me next time? I could have sold that truck for 25k here all day long...

I just sold an 07 5.9L 4wd with 195k for 36k... it was a mega cab and a 6 speed but still..

NADA retail was $25k. NADA Clean trade in was $18k. 2wd's are a lot cheaper. Private party trucks in similar condition are 19-21k on autotrader right now.
