I was thinking bigger stuff. Takeuchi makes the best minis for the money. One of my friends is a Komatsu tech at their plant in Augusta. He gets unreal training and from what i've seen the equipment is engineered to work reliably and be worked on. It's very japanese as opposed to others that feel German.

Takeuchis are also pretty expensive, the contractors I used to work with are cheap asses and never buy new equipment, lol. I literally broke portaband in 7 pieces, and they bought new parts for it as opposed to buying a new one. Takeuchis hold their value very well, thats why they never had one lol. Komatsus on the other hand you can get pretty cheap.

I used a Takeuchi, I didn't like how they drove, but operating them is pretty easy. I almost flipped one because the lever jammed back when I was lurching forward, and it made me spin towards a 14 ft drop lol.

Buying new they are cheaper. Cat is the most expensive.

Bobcat is probably the worst mini in existence.

Fuck CAT.

suck ass dozers, overweight hoes, narrow loaders, and rough as fuck haul trucks.

not to mention you can't pour fuel in them fast enough.

Yes, yes, no one likes these.

Takeuchis? Not sure what the aversion my old employer had with them than. We got a Komatsu mini ex with around 100 hours on it for 28k.

I've never dicked around on a bobcat.

Bobcat has one of the worst control systems ever. Sloppy and weak hydraulics.

The tak is cheap for what you get but some seem to be hit and miss so people get down on them if they run one and its a turd.

This lol... Their electric over hydraulic setup is horrible.

Komatsu makes a pretty bad ass dozer. The visibility is incredible.

Volvo makes some pretty nice articulated haul trucks and loaders. They also burn fuel like it's going our of style.

I absolutely love Volvo hoes. Their digging power is top notch and they are pretty fast at hogging dirt. Their downfall is their hydraulic power going to the tracks is slim to none... you gotta pull them all over with the bucket.

If you're loading crushers or trucks, buy a volvo. If you gotta track all over hell buy a JD (But make sure you take it out of retard controls before I get in it. That shit used to chap my ass...)

Lol I don't work for a dealer but I had to do investment research on them back in 2013. I did valuations and some mergers that involved CAT And Komatsu. Shoot me a message and I'll give you my email if you still need help.
