Having a fast car has the benefit of getting around slow fucks. If you are holding up traffic on the highway, and there is a line of cars behind you, a fast car is the safest way to pass the whole string of vehicles.
That old granny going 20 in a 35 in town has the best chance of getting plowed into.
Right by road america,where i live, people coming off the track onto 67 dont wanna get stuck behind someone doing 45mph in a 55. Traffic impediment tickets are very very common around here. Thats because cops around here are smart and know that slow fucks cause more accidents the speeders.
Road rage is a very real thing, and 95% of road rage incidents are caused by people driving slow pissing off everyone behind them. 1% by other people speeding past them, and roughly 4% by various acts of being a cunt.

and sometimes u just need to get to places faster, having a fast car helps you maneuver. if youre trying to accelerate in a slow car, you'll likely cause other ppl to rear end you and shit
