How's that fake? When I bought my Si it came with Onstar on it as a bonus add on and if you trigger it to go off they will call you to check on you.
This, They do monitor g-forces.
When I had my 08 GMC it came with 1 year free of onstar (nav / emergency) and I was bouncing across a lease road in northern wisconsin and they called and thought I was in a wreck.
