my point is people slam yota because its japanese owned but they have been building camrys here in kentucky for a long time. american built and its a 14 time best seller. arent they building the f series in dearborn now or something? they used to build them in louisville i think but now its the escape built there. also at the toyota factory its not a union workplace and those people make mad money anyway. uaw wants you to think that you need them to make money but thats nothing but bullshit.

They include the ranger in the f series. Ford has been using that marketing ploy for a while.

as well as the 450-650 trucks.

Its a known fact that toyota is more american made than the big 3 american companies.

Ford dodge and (unsure of gm) all have various plants for trucks. Dodge has 3 that i can think of and 2 are outside the states in mexico and canada.

Edit -- Yes, you can thank mexico for that wonderful #53 block in the 2nd gen trucks.

Similar is how Honda (of Japan) is separating themselves from Honda of America, who's in a lot of trouble with lawsuits..... Even tho' Honda (Japan) is the "big daddy" when things go wrong they immediately point out how Honda of America is an entirely different company.

A Toyota/Honda made in Japan is nothing like one made in America.

You need uaw for a nice severence package when the plant closes.. You need uaw so you don't pay out of pocket for insurance.. I can keep going, but I wont.

Foreign cars are built in America. American cars are built in Mexico. MErica

And canada. Mainly canada for gm
