It was pretty clear from seeing his posts over the last while, that he isnt exactly knowledgeable about cars.

I would tend to agree. I laughed at that almost as hard as the old v4 thread.

LMFAO There are some prime pictures in my old imageshack account.

P.S. It was yellow. Yellow = 100hp, blue only 30hp

But nothing can compare to the awesome that was the 1.0L 3 cyl geo metro of fury

Big pipes for all the airflow that 1L kicked out

Custom as fuck stereo install kit. Was a sema kit back in 1934

Dont forget the one off paintjob from Mad Mike on Pimp My Ride

Pretty sure this car cost me 250 bucks when I bought it. It had air bag suspension when I got it but every time you turned left the left front wheel would come off the ground (no LSD) so I had to take it off and sell it on craigslist for 80 bucks! Blew a transmission right after I bought it. Got a used one on *** for 20 dollars, cost 40 dollars to ship it to my house.
This poor car ended up in its grave about 8 months after I bought it. We figured out how to do reverse wheelies over a speed bump. Third time was the charm and shot both strut towers up through the unibody in the rear. Sold it for 200 bucks after it was all said and done LOL

By far the best car I've ever had in terms of money spent and fun had.

"Way back in the early 1900s, ignition coils were becoming more familiar to people because they were a key piece of every automobile engine. The ignition coil would take the low voltage from the battery and amplify it with the magic of magnetic fields. That higher voltage output was then sent out to the spark plugs where it ignited the air fuel mixture inside the engine. Over one hundred years later, ignition coils look different, but still work the same exact way. "

so i'm wondering what point you are trying to make. unless its a diesel that uses compression for combustion you need both the spark plugs and the ignition coils not just one or the other.

A spark plug usually needs a distributor that has an ignition coil internally or externally or it has a distributor-less system which has a Central Ignition coil or Individual coil packs. Case in point, it needs both. Not one or the other as you stated.
