Your biggest concern down here will be hydroplaning. This city's storm run off was constructed by 2 year olds with dull color crayons. Most tires (summer and A/S) will have decent tread to negate water underneath the tire. Like I said, I run f1's most of the time and they are no great tire to run in the wet at all but they do fine.
