Yes I did when I did it on my car.
But unfortunately I don't think that helps him in this case unless you think it'll work on a windshield lol (I know it sounds dumb but I don't know how exactly the scratch x works to remove scratch, residue etc., I just know it does a Damn good job at it)

You can compound a windshield just like paint. It takes waaay longer though.


If the stain on the windshield is repelling water i would clean the windshield with a good foaming glass cleaner then rain x it.

Well took it to the dealer and told them they put the mark on it. They can take it off


I'm getting a new windshield. It's a chemical burn in mark

It's annoying as he'll when that shows up, I had that problem when I first started debadging my car, you could still see the Pontiac lettering when it rained. Then I used Meguiars scratch remover X 2.0, stuff works awesome for that.



I have that stuff; love it.
