Its expensive if you dont kno people

It's still much more cost effective to build a nitrous setup. $8k isn't much for a new package.

Nice Snortbird btw, I used to have one of those was a fun car. But back on topic, I say why not install the blower, if done right you can have constant power not just for the track + you don't have to give this story "Oh you want to race? Ok cool let me go fill up my NOS and then it's on." It just seems like fake power to me.

Edit: Additionally nothing is sexier on an old school muscle car than a blower

Don't ride around with an empty bottle? How often do you expect to use/need 800+hp? The blower setup has the cool factor and constant availability but $8k isn't enough to build a decent blower setup imo. $10k would be the bare minimum.

No one riding around with over 500hp red light races unless they are scrubs.

Did I offend you by stating the obvious or something? I bet you are one of those douches driving a 1995 civic with clear corners, a screw on wing, a 5 inch muffler that comes out at a 45 degree angle, and a taped on non-matching paint body kit with cough cough "NoS" stickers on every window including the front windshield. Sound familiar?

You're right, they take it to the highway instead because they usually have traction issues.

Lol. For properly built rwd cars that happens over 650whp usually. We have plenty of long straight backroads with no traffic or driveways. 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 mi... w/e you want.

Ok. And street cars drive in the street. Some do both.
