He may have been to my workplace recently actually, not for service though. Bought an oil filter if I recall correctly. Didn't get a good look at the car, but it definitely looks familiar.

Almost looks like the one the Cyrious boys did.

I'd still go look at it, nothing to lose really, lol.

No use in me going to look at it right now, I don't have the space for a project, and I have trouble finding the time to work on the cars I already have lol.

Someone hit my fc while I was inside the mall today... Alarm went off, I went running.
Too late by the time I got outside. RIP mint FTP lenses.

On the upside, my SR to VQ transmission conversion stuff is in the mail (finally).
So the driveline on the 180 will be done very very soon

You're only running the VQ tranny right? Or are you planning on doing the whole swap? Buddy of mine has a swapped vh45 coupe.

As for cold starts, it's been doing fine so far. Pretty confident it'll make it through winter no problem.

Welcome to the GTA - we had snow all of 3 days, and overnight lows if -5 tops. It's been mild to say the least, and muddy if anything

Yeah, just the tranny. 3rd gear in SRs tend to shear once you make some decent power.

Well all things considered, the fc's doing much better than I expected. I took my Tundra to work that first day of the snow storm, then the FC the following day, roads weren't too clean yet and the car behaved fine.

Got around to modifying the G35 tranny's shifter rod. Had to cut it, shorten it and reweld the U joint farther back. Got a G35 shifter for free too!

You can see the quality of the relocation bracket in these pictures. I cleaned up the shifter rod after I took the picture, I promise!

The tranny's really clean and the synchros look to be in great condition. Car only had 45k on it when it came out.

Also ran the oil filter relocation lines and stuff, Oil pressure sensor is mounted on the relocation pedestal too.
Can't really see the oil block, but I verified that it works and oil cooling is pretty much ready to go.

Also mounted all the accessories and ran the belts. Finished the harness for the splitfire coils though, nice and neat.
Currently in the process of making the injector harness, almost done.
