Congrats.
Although not a big fan of the 150' s. Bought one new in 08 same color.
What made you go ford?

Yeah! Well my dad had a '98 for 12 years and bought a brand new '10 in 2010. Never had any major issues with the truck!

Also the '98 was a 5.4 and the '10 a 5L and you can dramatically see the consumption difference.

I did 10-11 L / 100km on highway and small roads today (~550kms drive) so it's pretty good imo for a full size truck.

They're discounting these like crazy to get rid of them. You probably won't see any significant discounts on the new ones for another year and a bit.

the aluminum ones are more expensive from the get go. ill be interested to see how that they change the landscape of trucks. no more rusty cab corners, rocker panels, and wheel archs

it's certainly going to change body work.

VERY few shops are actually capable of doing aluminum repair.

Same goes for composites.

So they went all aluminum body? Last I had heard anything about it thought it was just the bed. But I haven't heard anything about it in awhile.

Unless you've been living in an iron mine this year, you’ve heard by now that the 2015 Ford F-150 is the first full-size pickup to feature an all-aluminum body.

Or maybe people don't follow up on junk?

Last thing I saw about a new Ford truck was the test truck burning to the ground... figured what else is new?
