I think they make it look better, good job.
I also agree with getting the chrome painted, and taking off the side body moulding. Would make it look pretty schweet

Im worried how the paint under the molding would look.
Cause personally i dont like it much either

/I might paint the mirrors chrome part with the spray bed liner i used on the fenders. I think it would look good.
I wouldn't paint the bumpers
I might somehow paint the grill area though

I see ebae has some black telescoping towing mirrors for like 130
Think id rather just paint the chrome part on mine tho
would be like 20$ ha

You may have to buff it but the paint looks good. It should match after a good buff and wax. I've demolded Fbodies around the same age as your truck and they turned out fine.

Ya the paints in pretty good shape, only real bad thing is like water spots etched in, how do i get those out?
I think that's what it is
Only a couple little rust spot at the back fender from rocks chippin at it
But i covered it will clear coat and its now covered by the flares

Clay bar it first. If you still have etched water spots after that it needs to be compounded, polished, and waxed.

I tried clay bar no luck
I think imma take it to a body shop that paints
The paint really is good for a old truck, shines nice already

Polish or Rubbing compound?
Dont wanna dmg my clear coat
Any video you would recommend?

/from my understanding both are like liquid sandpaper, do the same thing but rubbing is more abrasive then the polish?
