Ahh that sucks. The lights in my home town always flashed during weekends too but no one followed it then. I have so many ridiculous cop encounters from that town - glad to be away from it.

it doesnt really matter if kids are present if the school zone lights are flashing or if it has posted hours you should always err on the side of caution. even during spring or fall break if i come to a school zone with flashing lights or anything i always slow down to that speed. theres always that one a-hole that will try to stick it to you even if it shouldnt be considered a school zone at that time.

i also run no more than the posted limit some of them will bust you for 26 in a 25 for that fine money

Depends what it is. I honestly just have stupid bad luck. Last summer I got really bad sunburn and got pulled over for no seatbelt (literally the only time ive driven without a seatbelt). Year before that I had my 240 which cost me $576 in fines (Caught laying a strip at the boardwalk, charged with wreckless driving) which yea was my fault. Year before that I got a 45 in a 30 even though the limit was 35. When I brought it to court the DA or whoever the police sent it lied to me and gave me a great deal and told me I could go home after I accepted it w/o filling out paperwork. A week later I got a letter in the mail with a larger fine for failure to appear/leaving the court house without signing the paperwork....

Year before that was my criminal speeding which was all my fault.

All within a year of having my license. Insurance was $700 a month. I leaned my lesson. ( no I didn't pay that, I went under someone's ) now I'm down to 170 for one. But now 225 for 2 vehicles .

I turned 25 and my policy just renewed at $40/mo more than before with nothing new on my record. Time to call geico.

i use state farm. paying like 75/month for full coverage on the equinox sport and 30/month for liability on my buick regal.

ive had a couple speeding tickets the past 4 years and no accidents.

Yeah, I pay about 60 dollars a car (x5) a month.

This thread makes me feel good about that.
