even if you look at units sold, and go by production vs sales, the total amount of vipers sold vs produced is a higher percentage then corvette.

corvette; since its first model, sold roughly 90% of production, viper; since its first model, sold roughly 96%.. but that still means nothing other then how many units were sold.

corvette made over 1.5 million units in history vs viper made just shy of 30k units.

no, if you own a dodge you posses prestige and money. There is a reason why mopar's on average bring in more at auctions then any of its competitors like that hemi cuda that just sold for 3.5 million. I mean, you would have to sell 70 camaros or chevelles to get that. Thats assuming you get 50k each for them, and the record shows, you will usually get half of that. Its has nothing to do with anything other then they are dime a dozen. Every woman and their daughters' has one.

Chevys are all cheap dime a dozen vehicles, and in my eye, worthless. I give gm credit where credit is due, and on its own has its own things going for it. But when comparing it to what else is out there in similar categories; sadly it just gets lost in the fog of everything that outperforms it and actually holds its value.

I like chevy the most in the aspect that its an american company- but it doesnt have a single vehicle that is made entirely in the US ( as in the parts that go into it are manufactured in the US)- The viper is just that - 100% american made; and it shows. The american spirit is reckless, raw, and unforgiving. Drive a viper and you get just that.

you say they sold 2679 corvettes in a given month or year but dont state how many were made. dodge sold 38 vipers.. and your point is? how many did they make? you cant go per month basis, per year is what matters because most vehicles made on x month arnt sold that month.

i would love to see you go into business thinking only sales numbers are important and never take a look at how much of your product is sold vs what you are producing. The epic execution of your business would come in short order with that infantile and ignorant mentality.

you can call the viper a piece of shit all you want but its still the only american car in the top 10 fastest nurburgring lap times. viper is 6th and vette is 12th.
