It's still in the mid-upper 90's here.  I'm leaving for a week at the beach tomorrow.

fuuuuck that shit

it hit 83 here today and was fucking miserable. Cant wait for the snow to fly in only 2 short months. Only then will this infernal heat go the fuck back home lol

most of the summer here barely broke 70-72 degrees and still felt hot as piss.. yeah fuck 90's lol

i felt searing heat while in the military, its where i got my hatred and intolerance for it. My only enjoyable time while in (temperature wise) was when my unit went for cold weather training in alaska.

Was the only time i was in alaska and i can say i fucking loved it. -40 degrees, fuck yes.

Last winter here it was -20 degrees without windchill for 2-3 weeks straight. Loved every minute of it and snowmobiled every chance i could get.

I'm right at 2 hours from the Florida border on I-95 and about 2hrs 15 min from the coast. We had a pretty mild summer this year. It stayed in the low 90's through the end of july. We only had a few days with heat indexes over 110 which is unusual. August was hot. The highs are still up in the 90s but this last front brought cool mornings between 62 and 70. Now we are waiting out the humidity. 117 or 118 was the highest heat index of the year i think.

TBH i'm completely used to it. I've been here my whole life and my work uniform is extraordinarily hot. Long sleeve level 2 FRC shirts and pants... often wearing a Gore-Tex acid suit over that...

If i'm wearing street close a heat index of 110 feels breezy lol.
