i work with brand new ford engines, there is A LOT of plastic on them lol even the 3.5 ecoboost now has a plastic valve cover

We had a guy come into work with a similar problem, he had to end up buying a new intake because even after he tapped it out and everything it just happened again under load.

Fact. My '01 Audi TT Roadster had a plastic propeller built in the fuel system.

Which shattered when I drove, which left bits all throughout my motor. Needless to say, I sold the car as quick as possible (was back in 2008).
