The cars were driving at reduced speed, and he literally guns it right over him.  It's not like Ward jumps in front of his car, he's standing on the track in the same position for a while when Stewart decides to hit the gas.  He could have easily hit the brakes or avoided him, but he raged and ran him over.

This isn't the first instance of Stewart losing his cool, he has a history of road rage.

ward could of easily just not of been on the track where he wasnt supposed to of been....

dont try and defend stupid, because it only makes you look equally as such.

Ward being on the track was stupid, but if you believe that warrants running him over, or that Stewart somehow couldn't avoid hitting him, you're a moron.

You're severely overrating the mans intelligence. Smarter people have done worse things in the heat of the moment, without having the same history of road rage that Stewart does.

Try and watch the videos.

Here's my point of view, take it or leave it I could careless

The kid should not have been running down the track to chase after tony, he almost got hit by the first 2 cars.

Dark track, black suit cars just took the yellow, they are still moving quickly.

I have been in a sprint car before and being straped in, it is hard to see things on the side of you, and you don't expect some one to try and run into your path.

It is in my opinion that tony was trying to get lower as quick as possible and also send the kid a hey fuck you too goose of the gas, wich does cause the car to rotate kicking the right rear out.

It was a verty unfortunate accident that could have been avoided, if a guys got his right rear on you, he's got u passed, check up and try again, don't drive the fuckin thing where there is no room.

God speed

i did, i saw an idiot abandon his vehicle and instead of getting of the track which was clearly the logical thing to do, he decided to push his luck and follow his anger instead of logic and stayed on the track and gestured at stewart. brilliant if i may say, it turned out quite well for him didnt it?

it was a shitty outcome, but to lay blame on stewart entirely is complete bullshit.

It wasn't entirely Stewarts fault, had Ward gotten off the track it couldn't have happened, but it was poor judgement on his part not to try to avoid him, or assuming he would get out of the way. Either way, he ran the guy over and killed him, and should be held accountable for it.

its not stewarts job to account for the actions of an idiot..

let me know when you return to reality, you must get lonely in your imagination world.

If you see someone on the highway, however dumb you might find it, you're going to simply run them over, because it isn't your "job to account for the actions of an idiot"?
