lol turbo kit is used but has no shaft play, the intercooler that came with it is kinda fucked up but we got the old gti-r intercooler witch is still decent.

my budy did his homework, he has a conversion harness for older pcm and ordered a 15psi tune for said older pcm( some sort of chip from a guy on honda forums) with is dirt cheap compared to tuning his current pcm( was quoted at 500$+) witch is ridiculous for this kind of build

everything is sorted out, just gotta wait for the stuff to arrive. I think he still has a 3 inch hight flow cat and vibrant muffler he never got to install on his other car, might get it on this one

That chip will be nothing but a base map. Street tunes around here are $150 n/a and $200 boost.

Honduhs... i wouldn't touch a street tune on a turbo car for less than $500. It takes a lot of datalogging to do it right. I drove my T/A over 200 miles to get the tune 90% done (to my expectations) N/A with a baby cam.


Maybe the honda ecu's and tuning software are less complex. That would make sense if it's like the rest of the car.

Or maybe you're just extremely subpar when it comes to tuning. Every street tuner around here charges those prices I posted, and that even comes with anti lag 2 step which requires dealers licenses.

this car is gonna have a some generic bullshit mail in tune to give the car a chance to live.
its pretty much a list of option and you specifiy wat you want/have and then you can specify with details ex:
rev limit: 7500
shift light: yes, please use check engine light
turbo: yes
psi:will be on 15 psi
injector: acura mdx or w/e
maf: oldsmobile 3.4l alero
etc etc

i didnt see the exact ''menu'' but thats how he described it to me.
might put some work into this weekend i dont know yet
