Honestly about every other c6 z I see is cammed. I am happy about that...

For daily use I say 400-500 is plenty.

For tracking often...you'll always want to go faster...just have fun with it. Do other tracks etc

yeah but your from texas kevin lol. you probably see that on a daily basis lol. im just asking a question, is a12 second car considered fast anymore or stock? lol

Mid-low 12's is quick. H/C and a tire will put you in the 11's. Do the rear end and you have low 11's. Then you are prepped to make the big power jump.

eh i dont think a h/c lt1 will get into the 11's on a good day but itis nice to think about it lol. the next power jump would have to be a forged bottom end and a power adder of course, but it would be a few years before then

They go 11's with a cam, gear, stall, mild suspension, and bolt ons. LT1 builds typically feature poor combos. I've seen h/c lt's run 13's and 10's. AI heads and cam will make near 450whp which will go low 11's with an auto.

i probably should have just text or called you with this question lol. the wayt he spread sheet is now, its AI all the way 200cc combo cam and heads with a built trans new rims and tires for what it will cost me to swap in the lq engine only. and if the trans gets hot it slips, so a new rebuild is inc soon on it.not to mention the 10 bolt will grenade probably once i get the lq, trans and stall in it

All depends on $$$

Ported 243's done right will make 460whp on an ls2. A nice set of $2500 heads will make 500whp. Thats with a driveable cam. Buy your heads planning for later or go budget for the short term. There are many ways to skin a cat.
