its not profitable for gm because they have a long way to go to even get 1/4 the way towards the track racing championship titles mopar has won.
gm just isnt prestigious when it comes to racing so there is no market for it.
they build pavement princess trucks and status symbol cars. Non of their vehicles dominate in any category.
cant remember what gt series it is but mopar has won it for like a decade straight.. gm just doesnt compare because a different market of people buy them, and they arnt the performance type.
