I disagree, I can ride my zx6r and 636 for far longer than I ever rode my R6 because the stance isn't so forward and aggressive.

I've owned and ridden gixers, R6s and zx6rs and I can tell you that from my experience, after moderately long rides, R6s were, by far, the most uncomfortable.

Mind you, I've never seen that guy in these subforums and R6s are bikes with quite a lot of hype around them...
but who knows, you might like how the R6's riding stance is when you go try them all out.

I like gixers and hyabusas ( but my budget isn't great )

But I've only owned 1 bike and not what you would consider "knowledged"
.

I see this ending horribly.

My 636 was very comfortable compared to the R6.

I appreciate your concern, however the one bike I owned I rode for 8 years. ( I just dont know the sport bike market. )

Kinda interested in people posting bike pics / pros / cons / prices.

Thanks for info, I have a list of about 4-5 bikes I will be checking out next week.

Is the issue with the stance? or is it only something you can tell from hours on the road?

prices are going to be dependent on your area.

when you sit on it/test ride it pay attention to where your body weight is focused. the r6 tends to make you hold yourself up with your arms so longer rides really make your arms tired for example.

6'2"is squishing a lot of man into the cockpit of a 600. The gsxr 600 and zx6r have the best seating position for a taller guy imo. Look at the GSXR 750 also. 600 with more engine.

I like pretty much all the bikes out there and im looking at getting a KTM rocket in the next year or two but,
the kawasaki ZX 14 is my favorite bike of all time, (owned one mid 2005 to 2007) you can get a used one at a decent price..

No point starting with a small motor and upgrading later for more power because you are gonna have to learn to ride all over again with the bigger/heavier/more powerful bike so you might as well start at the top and be done with it.

The common complaint is that its easier to kill yourself starting with a bigger bike but thats bullshit because you can kill yourself on a pedal bike also. It dosnt matter what you drive and start off with because if you drive like a dumbass, you will kill yourself regardless.

2009 zx14 for $8700
