I own a 2011 Si coupe and I really like it. Admittedly the G35 will destroy the Honda in essentially every respect except for a few and that would be reliability and fuel economy. The only problem you'll potentially have with the Si is a fucked up tranny, look for second gear grinds/lockouts and 3rd gear popouts. This is remedied by replacing the CMC but this is assuming the transmission hasn't been ground to shit beforehand, if the synchros are fucked the CMC upgrade will not help you, other than that the car is essentially bulletproof.

Vs. the G35 the only things the Honda can do better is fuel mileage and the handling is much more nimble. With some good tires on it the Si is actually quite the handler, but the ride will be much more harsh than the G. This is essentially apples to oranges here though, you're comparing a GT coupe to a hopped-up econobox. If you can afford the gas and can deal with the RWD in the winter (dunno where you live) then get the G, I would, and I own an Si...lol.

I was actually considering trading it in for an Evo X. I got a place closer to work so my commute won't require my car to be so modest on gas. I definitely want something else.

subabaru build quality is better considerably better, though that really isn't saying much. Mitsubishi paint and metal is disgustingly bad. Google ACD pump issues too.

I could care less. Subarus are the new hondas. Every one and their bro has one. It's worse than the bro trucks. Maybe it's different in Canada.

Not buying a car because of the people associated with it is the stupidest reason. Your car doesn't reflect who you are. G35 owners are generally worse though if that's the argument you want to make.

They wish they had that kinda market share

But yeah, everyone and their brother... in Maine... has AWD cars.

I'm all about uniqueness so your points are invalid.
