So I've opened up my turn signal light and found out the bulb just wasn't existant anymore, it exploded in a thousand pieces. I bought a new one, fixed it where it belongs and ended up finding out that the whole turn signal module was rather loose, at a point in which it was impossible for the bulb to remain in place. I have ordered a new module and will receive it by Friday, just gotta drive carefully and turn right as much as I can since then, fortunately I don't return to work until Saturday.
by module im guessing you mean the socket the bulb snaps into? if so then make sure when you splice the new one in you put shrink tube over the connection and get it sealed off good. also check any wiring that is exposed to the weather and make sure the wire itself is copper colored and not black or green which would indicate corrosion setting in. we deal with burning up the headlight sockets and light sockets in general on our semis all the time. seems like we put at least 2 headlight sockets per side per year on a truck that is daily driven.
