Considering the only one of those trucks that you can buy in a standard transmission is the tacoma I guess that would be your best choice. It would do all the hauling you need to and still get good gas mileage. Not sure how tall you are but I'm 6'3 and prefer a full size to stretch my legs. Hence why I drive a Tundra.

Never had a problem with the 6.4, 289k and still going strong, going to get a new truck in October for my birthday

Tacoma lacking in size . I had a 2012 ram 1500 not that impressed. The Chevy looks nice and is probably the best priced. Tundras are expensive , not sure about prices on the fords.

6.0 and 6.4l ford diesels are risky business, the main diesel center in my city loves them though keeps them employed.

Lol, treat em right and they will go a while, all I use it for is towing. I don't blow the tires off, I don't dump coal it gets used for to and from the track and moving trailers and that's it
