If thats all it needs how come the dealership/shop doesnt just fix it and sell it for more money?

This is an extremely common problem... I hear it daily with those Ford's. Maybe its worse where I am, might be salt related? but common as hell none less, manifolds leak
tick tick ttick. One of My grandpa's work truxk, the 5.4 even leaks

Not at all. My 4.6L V8 Ford has had a leaking right side exhaust manifold for 60k+ miles. If you can ignore the service engine soon light and slight "hiss" sound you hear if the windows are down.... (imo) its no big deal. Either way at the worse if cracked and needs completely replaced in a few years its no big deal like Tears mentioned above.
Very common in the Ford v8s. No big deal....
