Compared to Porsches

Base model Porsches are the laughing stock of the automotive world... Great comparison.

The twins have been compared to Porsches numerous times in many reviews and articles.....

Did you even read the KBB article.....I mean, it's right there, it's not hard to google.

I don't read articles on cars that I have no interest what so ever in, I didn't buy my car's to "look" cool. I buy them for performance, comfort, and practicality.

I don't know why a 25k car would be compared to a 60k car.. People buy these cars for different reasons, and obviously performance isn't one of them if you are buying a frs or brz..

If you have no interest, don't post.

The price tag isn't the comparison between twin v.s Porsche, the way it drives is.

Before you argue about something you are clearly ignorant about, watch review videos. Also, as a longtime member of FT86 club, numerous members have posted their comparisons after owning both a twin and porschse.

But yes, straight line driving in a twin is not strong.

It's one thing to tell me i'm "nut hugging," but it's another thing when someone randomly comes in here and starts posting about things that they have done ZERO research on.

we can ALL EASILY agree that the Twins lack a little bit of power, that's NEVER what i'm arguing about.

He says people don't buy these cars for performance.....Well sorry, but performance is more than just straight line power.

And the cars that everyone like to claim are just straight line cars are still faster than the BRZ around a track.

My buddy is picking up an 05 Lotus Elise for around $25k....much better car as far as handling goes....maybe not as comfortable, and a little more bare-bones, but if you don't care about a harsh ride you can daily those cars in a nice climate. Lotus > Toybaru.

Yet they do it so poorly.....Sorry, I've watched too many comparison reviews and ALL of them say that the twins drive better......And all of them agree that it just needs a little more hp.

Poorly isn't exactly the right word......but reviewers clearly express a different feeling in a brz......the driver's car....and when in a straight line car, they express the acceleration differences...

I don't understand why you argue facts....

$25k for a used car, yes. I could name a bunch of used cars for $25k that could be better. Nothing against lotus, of course.
