A snapper mower can do wheelies too.... defying gravity with technology indeed!

I'm busting your balls because you are being an ass. A well set up drag car doesn't do wheelies. 4-6" at most. You probably don't realize it but every fast drag car has someone behind it that understands suspension action and setup as good or better than their counterpart on a road course.

i thought the point of these forums was to be an ass every once in a while

and yeah i do realize those things, the whole concept of either pulling 1/4 mile wheelies or keeping the car from lifting the front is all in the suspension/drivetrain/weightratio setups. power is a factor most of the thought goes into the rest, hense how a 10hp mower can pop the wheels B)

It goes both ways

Watch some of these cars. Outlaw drag radial cars run a 315mm DOT drag radial just like you would buy for a street car. They are making between 2200 and 2800hp. They use stock style suspension (no backhalf 4 link setups) and they run in the low 4's 1/8th mile and mid/high 6's 1/4 mile. It is really hard to get a suspension to separate like they do. The rear suspension momentarily compresses on the hit and then rebounds forcing the front end down so it doesn't wheelie. These cars will do a back handspring if they were set up conventionally. Adjustments have to be made after every run.
