so glad you compare an automatic brz to a manual si, go with an automatic civic and it trumps the brz there too. don't be mad you bought a car that doesn't outperform a civic.. it is ok friend
also you pointed out that the civic makes a whopping 5 more whp and weights 100 pounds more, but guess what? the civic runs a whole second faster so which is the better performing car? You bought a performance car why? if you didn't buy it for performance what then?
AT SI currently do not exist in the current model year.
I didn't buy my car for the performance. I didn't buy it to race, to track, to drag, or to be an idiot. I bought it because I wanted a small, light weight car, and I love the way it looks. Performance comes second to those three standards.
The civic SI is NOT a better performing car and the is NO level of convincing you could do to convince me so......I do NOT care if it comes out 1 second faster on the drag. You would be ignorant to think that the SI is a better performing car.

And just a moment of research...... the SI ranges from 14.3-14.9 quarter mile while the BRZ runs average 14.9......I wouldn't say it's a full second faster.....
oh and look at this....from motortrend
Engine/Horsepower/Torque Fuel Economy Weight 0-60 MPH Quarter Mile 60-0 MPH Figure Eight
2012 Honda Civic Si Coupe 2.4L I-4/201-HP/170 lb-ft 22/31 mpg 2835 lb 6.5 sec 15.0 sec @ 92.3 mph 121 ft 26.4 sec @0.66 g (avg)
