they went too far though. they took a highly identifiable series of cars and turned it very very generic looking in this model.

without the badge and the rear end design you could of basically called this the new ford torino and no one would notice it was supposed to be the next mustang.

Etc. They may have refined it, but they neutered it with the same stroke.
