Ive got 35 all around on my mustang and its dark enough to look good but still legal and easy enough to see at night. Depends a bit on your interior though. A dark interior makes the tint look even darker than it is so you can get by with less

When I got my formula it had 2 layers of 5% on it for some reason, it was sweet looking but a nightmare at night, at times. Couldn't see shit out of them at night. If I knew I was going to have to back out of somewhere at night I would back in during the day just to avoid having to do it at night lol. Got pulled over all the time for it because tint is illegal in NJ.
