You needed the low tire pressure light to tell you,  your tire had a gash in it??

It came on while i was stopped at a stop sign. As soon as i started rolling again it was pretty obvious.

How are you getting these "gashes" in the side wall? You got a pissed off ex?

Are they low profile tires? We all heard about the ice storms Atlanta had, how bad are the roads? Potholes I'm wondering...

I can only think of three causes.

#1 shitty tires. What kind of tire are you using? Does the tire fail always on the same rim? Are all the failing tires the same brand?
#2 the roads. If low profile and you hit a pothole or whatever had an edge it can cause sidewall damage.
example below: on bikes they can get whats known as a "snake bite" tire leak when they hit something and pinch the rubber tube against the rim.

#3 driver error. Is it always your right side tire? Quit running into the curb.

The first tire I had to replace had a 5" long 3/16" bolt go through it. This one was the only sidewall issue.
No curbs, roads arent too bad, and the tires are fairly decent. idk what happened
