Ford isnt a race car by any means but it has a turbo and 230 HP and 270ft-lb of torque which is pretty good.
I am worried about Ford reliability and love the look of the lancer which is why im considering it.
The ford is luxurious but dont know about reliability

If you need reliability stay the hell away from Mitsu

How long do you plan on keeping it and do you have kids?

Guarantee the Ford will last longer. The Mitsu would be more fun for a few years.

Personally I'm a Subaru fan. If you want some performance look at a WRX model.

I believe he's referring to my WRX comment. I thought they were making the turbo Subaru's in Automatic now. Maybe it's the GT model I'm thinking of. Still a turbo boxer engine with an automatic. Just not the entire WRX set up.

imo - I'd double check with a dealer and see if Subbie makes a model with the turbo 2.0L boxer engine with auto tranny. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought it was available now.

lol you always have been able to get an auto wrx. I wouldn't recommend one in his situation though, again reliability isn't exactly top notch
