If your not at fault it goes through other parties insurance not yours ..if you were at fault and didn't have collision you would be fucked

Should be the person at faults insurance company. I had this same thing happen last year when my mom wrecked my car. Driver at faults insurance actually paid me a lot more than I thought the car was worth.
